Procedure Text



SELVI : Hi guys, my name is Selvi Puspita Handayani, today I will make one of the original food the city of Palembang, but I'm not alone here. I was accompany by a beautiful guest, please coming Via Meshita.
VIA : Hi Chef, what shall we do today?
SELVI : Today we will make a "Pempek Quail Eggs Spicy Sour Soup"
VIA : Whoa, it sounds delicious. What are the ingredients, Chef?
SELVI : First we have to prepare the materials. The materials are :
- Poached quail egg
- Farmer sago flour
- 1 teaspoon of mecin
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of finely garlic
- 100 ml of warm water
- 500 ml of Cooking oil

And the materials to make the Vinegar Sauce are :
- Shaved brown sugar
- 100 ml of tamarind water
- 200 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of finely garlic
- Green chili mashed

At least for Complement’s Materials are :
Wet noodles and cucumber

VIA : Wow, the ingredients are so simple!
SELVI : Yeah, before we start to make the dough we have to boil a pan of water. Then, please get me a bowl there?
VIA : Then, what are the steps to make it?
SELVI : Put sago flour, finely garlic, salt, mecin and warm water into a bowl then stir it.
VIA : Let me stirring it, chef!
SELVI : Of course, then we fill the dough with quail eggs and round shape.
VIA : Done chef.
SELVI : If it has been set, aside pempek. Put pempek and boiled until the float, remove from heat and drain and place on a plate.
I want to ask if you eat pempek what makes it taste good?
VIA : In my opinion, depends on sour soups from the pempek.
SELVI : Yes very true, therefore let us make the sour soup, but I want to make a spicy sour soup.
VIA : Let me to make it, Chef?
SELVI : Of course, first prepare a sauce pan and then enter the brown sugar, water tamarind, garlic finely, green chili, salt and water. Light a fire and cook until boiling, if the pot is boiling remove it and drain.
VIA : What next steps, Chef?
SELVI : We put the pan on the stove and pour the cooking oil, turn on
the stove wait until the oil hot, after that input pempek fried until golden yellow pempek, then remove and drain.
To complements we can add the cucumber that has been diced and wet noodle, prepare small dishes to put pempek and bowls to put sour soup. Finally, pempek ready to be served.
VIA : Whoa, it smells so good!
SELVI : It’s easy to make, right? You can practice it at home.
